Finance Systems Manager

Overview

The Finance Systems Manager will oversee the management, enhancement, and transformation of the organization's financial systems ecosystem, with a key emphasis on SAP S/4HANA Finance. This role serves as the pivotal liaison between the Finance department, IT, and business units to secure seamless financial operations, accurate reporting, automation, compliance, and ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize financial systems including ERP solutions, SAP S/4HANA Finance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and reporting platforms.
• Lead projects involving SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation, upgrades, migrations, rollouts, and system enhancements.
• Manage modules such as SAP FI/CO, Treasury, Cash Management, Group Reporting, Project Systems, and Funds Management.
• Supervise system configuration, performance testing, integration processes, deployment, and improvements.
• Champion finance digital transformation and automate processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
• Identify and apply best practices to optimize finance workflows and processes.
• Enhance financial reporting mechanisms, dashboards, analytics, and management information systems.
• Ensure compliance of financial systems with accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain data integrity, security, governance protocols, and system access management.
• Manage partnerships and interactions with IT teams, SAP vendors, external partners, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Lead initiatives for process improvements in accounting, procurement, treasury, budgeting, and reporting areas.
• Support audit processes ensuring governance and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities to finance systems teams and key business users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Information Technology is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or their equivalents are preferred.
• Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance is considered a plus.
• Project management certifications, like PMP, are desirable.

Experience Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in finance systems, ERP management, SAP, financial technologies, or digital transformation initiatives.
• At least 5 years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance platforms.
• Proven track record managing SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
• Experience leading finance transformation and ERP integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes including accounting, budgeting, reporting, treasury, and cost control.
• Experience in large multinational companies or diversified business sectors.
• Preferred industries include construction, manufacturing, industrial, real estate, FMCG, logistics, or infrastructure.
