About the Role
Digitus_Group is looking to appoint a seasoned Finance Manager to spearhead its financial operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will partner strategically with senior leadership and project teams to ensure robust financial management, precise reporting, adherence to regulatory standards, and overall sustainable business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning processes for the Saudi branch.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, build financial models, project cash flows, and generate performance reports for management.
- Track actual results against budgets, analyze deviations, and propose corrective strategies.
- Provide timely financial insights to facilitate strategic and operational decision-making.
- Set and monitor financial KPIs across departments and projects.
- Oversee the full cycle financial management and accounting of various projects, defining budgets, cost codes, and reporting frameworks.
- Control project revenue, expenditure, commitments, accruals, billing, collections, and cash flow management.
- Assess project margins and forecast costs-to-complete to safeguard profitability and identify financial risks.
- Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition aligned with applicable accounting standards.
- Collaborate with project, operations, procurement, and commercial teams to boost project financial performance.
- Review contractual terms, payment schedules, claims, and commercial commitments to mitigate financial exposure and liquidity risks.
- Guide projects through closing phases including final account reconciliation and financial evaluation.
- Manage core accounting functions including general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, cash handling, and banking activities.
- Lead month-end and year-end closings and produce timely financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain complete and accurate financial records compliant with company policies.
- Support group-level financial consolidation and corporate financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee cash-flow forecasting and liquidity management while enhancing working capital efficiency through effective receivables and payables handling.
- Maintain strong banking relationships and manage overdue collections with customers.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi-specific financial and tax regulations including VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and electronic invoicing standards outlined by ZATCA and accounting standards endorsed by SOCPA.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, delivering required information promptly.
- Develop, update and enforce financial policies, controls, and authorization guidelines.
- Identify and rectify weaknesses in financial controls promptly.
- Manage the integrity and usage of the company's financial ERP system, proposing improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and reporting efficiency.
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance team by setting clear goals, providing coaching, and identifying training needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field; Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
- CPA certification is compulsory; CMA or CFA credentials are advantageous.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Demonstrable expertise in project accounting is mandatory.
- Relevant industry experience preferred: telecommunications, ICT, digital infrastructure, data centres, engineering, EPC, contracting, or construction sectors.
- Strong competencies in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash-flow management.
- Sound knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s financial, tax, statutory, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with financial ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
