Finance Controller

About the Role

Rempact is looking to hire a seasoned Finance Controller to oversee financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis functions at their New Delhi (Pithampura) office. This role requires an individual with strong analytical capabilities, expertise in financial modeling, and the ability to collaborate with different departments to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead the processes of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Evaluate monthly financial outcomes and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Create and update comprehensive financial models for product-level profit and loss statements, marketing return on investment, and customer acquisition effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with teams from sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations to facilitate informed business decisions and enhance performance.
• Monitor and improve unit economics, contribution margins, and working capital across various product lines.
• Prepare dashboards, variance analyses, and presentations suitable for investors.
• Support audit processes, fundraising campaigns, and board meetings with relevant financial information.
• Offer strategic recommendations aimed at cost reduction and revenue growth.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with between 4 to 10 years of experience in corporate or strategic finance.
• Previous work experience within high-growth startups, direct-to-consumer businesses, FMCG, or e-commerce sectors strongly preferred.
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is an advantage.
• Strong business understanding and effective communication skills to convey financial data clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, ethical integrity, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Additional Information

The role offers a salary budget ranging from 30 to 35 lakh per annum. Candidates are expected to have 7 to 9 years overall experience. The position is based fully on-site at New Delhi (Pithampura).
