The company is active in multiple African markets and is rapidly scaling its operations.

Role Overview

We seek a commercially driven Finance and Accounting Manager to develop a scalable finance function supporting our upcoming growth stage. This role offers an ambitious finance professional the potential to evolve into the Head of Finance position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance and accounting functions across multiple countries.
• Compile monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
• Administer working capital, treasury operations, and inventory financial management.
• Coordinate tax compliance, statutory obligations, and annual audits.
• Enhance finance systems, reporting frameworks, and internal control processes.
• Assist with fundraising activities, financial modelling, and strategic decision-making.
• Source and manage grant funding, concessionary financing, and blended finance projects, including application preparation, budgeting, and reporting.

Candidate Profile

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Preferred qualifications include ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA (either qualified or finalist status).
• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Experience within retail, FMCG, logistics, technology sectors, or fast-growing SMEs is advantageous.
• Strong capabilities in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Familiar with ERP systems; experience with Odoo is preferred.
• Proactive, hands-on approach, and enjoys implementing systems in dynamic business settings.
