Position Overview

We are currently recruiting FIFO Bus Drivers to join regional teams at various remote locations across Western Australia. Both full-time and casual roles are available, offering either steady employment or flexible scheduling options. This role operates on a FIFO roster from Perth on a 2:1 basis (14 days on, 7 days off) with approximately 11 working hours per day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate large buses or coaches with 53+ seats, safely transporting residents between village accommodations, mine sites, and airports.
  • Carry out daily inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure safety and operational readiness.
  • Perform various utility duties within the village as part of an integrated service delivery approach, keeping daily tasks engaging and varied.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be an Australian citizen or possess full working rights.
  • Residency in Perth, WA at the time of application is essential.
  • Proven experience driving large buses or coaches with 53 or more seats.
  • Hold a current MR driver's license or higher; Heavy Rigid (HR) license is preferred.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorization at personal expense.
  • Ability to pass a bus driving assessment test.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment medical examination which includes drug and alcohol screening.
  • Provide a National Police Check dated within the last six months, or agree to obtain one.
