Key Responsibilities
- Install and deploy Pronto's hardware and software on heavy machinery, including sensor arrays, drive-by-wire kits, power systems, and vehicle interfaces at mining sites in Saudi Arabia.
- Setup auxiliary equipment such as network stations, gate mechanisms, and office tech infrastructure on location.
- Perform system calibration and validation to ensure installations adhere to performance and safety standards.
- Work closely with Engineering and Customer teams to synchronize field deployments with specifications and integrate research and development feedback.
- Conduct regular maintenance to maintain system reliability and operational integrity.
- Inspect and record equipment conditions, monitoring wear and environmental effects.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues using diagnostic tools aimed at minimizing downtime.
- Communicate technical issues and repair outcomes effectively to engineering personnel for ongoing improvement.
- Represent Pronto professionally on-site to customer staff, providing responsive support and training as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all service-related activities through ticketing and CRM systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in field service, automotive electronics, mechatronics, or related technical support roles.
- Proficiency using hand tools, electrical test equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Strong understanding of vehicle components including power systems, CAN bus networks, sensors, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Ability to interpret wiring schematics, technical manuals, and operational documentation.
- Capability to operate autonomously in outdoor, industrial field conditions with limited supervision.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with autonomous vehicle technologies, robotics, machine control systems, or advanced sensor arrays.
- Knowledge of Linux-based platforms and remote diagnostic practices.
- Safety certifications such as OSHA 10 or MSHA Part 48 or equivalents are advantageous.
