About the Role
Brunswick Group is inviting applications for the position of Executive in its Singapore office. This role involves joining a high-achieving team advising prominent organizations in Southeast Asia and globally. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic setting, brings analytical rigor and creative problem-solving, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
As part of the job, you will assist clients through pivotal moments such as mergers & acquisitions, crisis management, corporate positioning, and reputation management. Brunswick provides a unique platform to support clients through these complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Create strategic communication materials including press releases, Q&A documents, and key messaging.
- Monitor and analyze developments in media, policy, and market trends in Singapore and Southeast Asia, providing insights to the team and clients.
- Utilize in-house AI tools and resources to manage tasks effectively and ensure high-quality, timely outputs.
- Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and pitch preparations.
- Approach client issues strategically and tactically, contributing to account growth and development.
- Deliver thoughtful content and guidance to account teams, maintaining attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Build strong working relationships with both colleagues and clients.
- Maintain responsiveness across multiple time-sensitive engagements and share relevant insights from personal and professional networks.
- Engage in continual professional development through training opportunities.
- Serve as the local market representative, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative, respectful team environment.
- Prepare detailed media backgrounders and curate targeted media lists for Singapore and regional markets.
- Identify media opportunities and develop strategies for stakeholder engagement to enhance client profiles.
Candidate Profile
- One to three years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate communications, public affairs, consulting, or agency environments.
- Strong command of written and verbal English; knowledge of additional Asian languages is a benefit.
- Genuine interest in Southeast Asian policy, business environment, capital markets, and multinational/regional corporate issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a client-focused approach.
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with collaborative spirit.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strategic thinker with creativity and high discretion when handling sensitive information.
- International academic or work experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with research and data tools such as Factiva and Bloomberg is a plus.
