About the Role
The Sage Group’s client, a leading American software company specializing in cloud-based platforms for automating business workflows, seeks an Events Project Manager to join their Brand Creative team. This position focuses on the flagship international World Forums event known as Knowledge and entails high-volume production management for both digital and print assets. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with senior designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams to ensure creative deliverables progress efficiently from initial brief through final delivery while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project intake, define scope, and manage scheduling for print and digital deliverables related to the event.
- Maintain up-to-date project timelines with clearly defined milestones, ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
- Act as the central liaison among the creative team, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate the print production workflow from file handoff to vendor delivery, monitor progress, and proactively address risks.
- Conduct regular status meetings and generate progress reports to keep leadership apprised of developments, obstacles, and team capacity.
- Escalate potential issues such as production delays, scope changes, or timeline risks promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive workflow documentation, project tracking systems, and asset logs to support a high-volume production environment.
- Manage review cycles and approval processes, ensuring appropriate stakeholder engagement at each stage.
Candidate Profile
- Detail-focused project manager adept at operating within fast-paced, high-volume creative settings.
- Excellent organizational skills capable of managing multiple concurrent workstreams without overlooking details.
- Strong communicator who effectively collaborates with creative teams, holds stakeholders accountable, and maintains team motivation under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Over six years of project management experience, ideally within creative, marketing, or events domains.
- Proven track record managing high-volume production cycles for both print and digital media.
- Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana, Workfront, or Smartsheet.
- Experience liaising with external print vendors and managing the timelines for file delivery.
- A solid understanding of creative production processes, including knowledge of print specifications, approval workflows, and version control of assets.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to changes quickly.
- Previous involvement in supporting large-scale events or campaigns is highly desirable.
Additional Information
- Contract duration through the end of the year with potential for extension.
- Location: Remote within the United States, preferable working in Pacific Standard Time zone.
- Compensation: $60 per hour.
