Role Overview
This position is responsible for managing the complete recruiting process, with strong focus on strategic sourcing. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to define role needs and candidate profiles, partner with Sourcers to build targeted sourcing plans, and handle offer negotiation, closing, and presentation. The job also involves creating candidate pipelines and shaping proactive talent generation efforts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline, along with 1 year of customer service experience. Candidates without the degree may qualify with 5 years of substantial, relevant customer service experience instead.
- Strong people skills, including the ability to resolve conflict, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent speaking and writing ability, with strong attention to detail when promoting open roles.
- Solid planning and time-management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of human resources practices, especially employment laws tied to the hiring process.
Preferred Experience
Prior recruiting experience is preferred.
