About the Role

Join us as an Employment Consultant in Traralgon, Victoria, where your efforts will make a real difference by creating meaningful job opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. This role blends direct participant support with sales, relationship management, and administration responsibilities within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with participants to identify their employment goals and prepare them for the job market.
  • Coach candidates in resume development, interview techniques, and job search skills while facilitating access to training and upskilling.
  • Proactively engage local employers through cold calls, visits, and face-to-face meetings to generate job opportunities and promote inclusive recruitment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to nurture ongoing employment pathways and repeat business.
  • Advocate for participants to secure job placements, negotiate trials, work experience opportunities, and wage subsidies.
  • Track and manage compliance, documentation, and data according to program standards, while consistently meeting or exceeding KPI targets for placements and activities.
  • Celebrate participant milestones and successful job placements to boost confidence and motivation.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, confident in employer engagement.
  • Background in sales, recruitment, business development, or other client-facing roles.
  • Passionate about assisting people to overcome employment barriers and succeed.
  • Highly organized, resilient, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

Additional Requirements

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
