Dues Operator

Position Overview

The Dues Operator is in charge of handling collections for overdue member payments across various account types, including personal training packages, monthly electronic fund transfers (EFT), and recurring à la carte charges. The role demands ongoing, professional outreach and persistent follow-up to address delinquent accounts while maintaining a cordial member experience.

Primary Duties

• Initiate proactive communication with members who have outstanding balances via phone and email.
• Maintain consistent follow-up procedures until accounts are settled or escalated according to company policy.
• Handle collection efforts on all dues types such as personal training, monthly EFT, and recurring charges.
• Accurately record all communications and negotiated payment plans with members.
• Resolve member issues and billing disputes tactfully and professionally.
• Collaborate with club staff and management when dealing with chronic delinquent accounts.
• Keep precise documentation regarding collection progress and results.

Preferred Experience

• Background in collections, billing, or customer service roles.
• Experience in fitness, membership, or subscription-based industries is advantageous.

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $17.05 to $18.05.
