Overview
TeamKids stands as Australia's leading provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), dedicated to engaging and entertaining children before school, after school, and during school holidays.
Role Summary
This permanent full-time position offers flexible arrangements allowing administrative hours to be completed remotely outside of direct service times. Support will be provided through a Mentor and Regional Manager to help you excel.
Work Location and Hours
The role is based at Weir Views, a recently established primary school designed to support diverse children including those with varied needs. Operating hours include split shifts Monday through Friday: Before School Care from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM, After School Care from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with an additional 3 hours of administrative duties, totaling 38 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team to deliver safe, fun, and compliant programs that engage children and support their development.
- Plan and implement creative activities and experiences tailored to primary-aged children.
- Build and nurture meaningful partnerships with the school, families, and wider community.
- Supervise children and maintain adherence to all regulatory requirements, including medical documentation and service compliance.
- Manage and roster a motivated and passionate team of educators.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader passionate about educating and nurturing children.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings while maintaining a friendly, enthusiastic approach.
- Effective communication skills with children, parents, team members, and school leadership.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive mindset.
- Experience or desire to support children with diverse needs and the ability to have fun while learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant Diploma qualification as per ACECQA standards, or actively working towards it.
- Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training prior to commencing employment.
