Position Summary
The Director of Business Development for Strategic Accounts will focus on uncovering and cultivating new business prospects through well-established strategic partnerships within financial institutions, as well as reactivating interest among existing enterprise leads.
Key Duties
- Identify, reconnect with, and qualify enterprise prospects by utilizing strategic partners, referrals, and targeted account outreach.
- Rank accounts based on alignment with company strategy, business necessity, workflow volume, organizational preparedness, and potential for recurring revenue.
- Perform thorough research on target organizations to develop AI use case proposals, value propositions, tailored outreach plans, and persuasive business cases.
- Effectively communicate the business benefits of Fisent’s AI capabilities in relation to current market demands.
- Cultivate strong relationships with executives, operational heads, technical experts, internal champions, and diverse buying committees.
- Lead discovery meetings, product demonstrations, executive roundtables, and pilot program discussions to move qualified opportunities forward.
- Maintain precise CRM records, handle sales pipeline forecasting, and collaborate with product, delivery, and marketing teams to refine positioning and market strategies.
- Leverage warm introductions to navigate complex purchasing groups and identify key internal advocates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 5 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, business or account development, or managing strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of building pipelines and supporting recurring revenue growth.
- Familiarity with sales within financial services or other strictly regulated sectors, including understanding enterprise operations, technical environments, procurement systems, and relevant workflows.
- Experience marketing AI, automation, workflow solutions, content management, or comparable enterprise technologies.
- Strong skills in account-based selling, conducting research, discovery processes, presentations, and constructing business cases.
- Highly self-motivated and adept at working independently in startup settings, with outstanding communication, relationship-building, organizational, analytical, and CRM management capabilities.
