Role Overview and Responsibilities
The tax environment is rapidly transforming, influenced by international developments, new regulations, and heightened expectations. Within our Tax and Legal division, we partner with clients to navigate these complexities, unlock growth opportunities, and align with their strategic goals. Leveraging innovative thinking, deep expertise, and a global network, we empower clients to progress confidently.
In your capacity as a Director within our Aircraft Leasing and Finance tax team, you will play a pivotal role overseeing daily team operations and guiding projects. Key accountabilities include:
- Delivering superior tax consultancy services to aircraft leasing clients, especially on cross-border lease transactions.
- Conducting thorough technical tax research and presenting detailed advisory insights.
- Engaging directly with tax authorities and clients regarding tax-related matters.
- Collaborating closely with partners to ensure fluid departmental functioning.
- Supporting business development activities, securing new engagements, and contributing to practice growth.
- Administering client relationships and ensuring high-quality service across advisory and compliance functions.
- Leading and mentoring trainees and senior staff, coordinating efforts with corporate tax compliance teams.
- Managing a dedicated team accountable for delivering client services and professional development.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Certification as AITI or CTC with relevant tax post-qualification experience.
- Advanced understanding of corporate tax and capital gains tax principles.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding professional and client service standards.
- Prior experience in aircraft leasing within a Big Four accounting environment.
Work Environment and Manager Profile
This position is Dublin-based following a hybrid working model, with flexibility to work from offices located in Cork, Limerick, or Galway. Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is €100,500, with adjustments commensurate with skill level and experience.
