Key Responsibilities

• Providing individualized assistance in daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal grooming, hygiene, and transportation
• Facilitating participation in social and community engagements like shopping and social events
• Assisting clients to meet personal objectives and recognizing achievements
• Encouraging autonomy, self-expression, and choice-making
• Maintaining precise records of care delivered, client activities, and progress made
• Collaborating with team members to deliver consistent and high-quality support

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of required background checks and training
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance (either primary or secondary operator)
• Capacity to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and within their communities
• A caring, dependable disposition with a genuine desire to help others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism, including knowledge of implementing Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports
• Familiarity with basic behavior-support tactics such as redirection, visual cues, and adjusting environments
