Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Engineer to join our Wellington team in a permanent full-time capacity. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing the technology services used throughout MAS.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert support and escalate complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and fix hardware, software, endpoint devices, and network problems.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Manage user access with a focus on upholding system security.
- Coordinate deployment of applications, updates, and patches to endpoint devices.
- Support device lifecycle management and adhere to technology standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, assets, and processes.
- Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to ensure quality deliverables.
- Contribute to technology projects and initiatives aimed at improving services.
- Identify and act on opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and user experiences.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum four years of experience supporting IT systems within an enterprise setting.
- Proven ability in supporting endpoint devices and network hardware.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Intune for application deployment and device management.
- Knowledgeable in Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with operating in a change-controlled IT environment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset.
- Dedicated to continuous service improvement and excellence.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
