Role Overview

The Dermatologist position at Reem Medical Center involves providing thorough clinical evaluation and management of patients experiencing various skin, hair, and nail conditions within an on-site clinical setting in Doha, Qatar. Daily activities include patient consultations, physical assessments, diagnosis of dermatological diseases, and development of personalized treatment plans. The role encompasses management of both acute and chronic skin ailments, addressing acne and other prevalent skin issues, and delivering cosmetic dermatology treatments, including minimally invasive procedures when appropriate.

Responsibilities also include collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, maintaining precise patient records, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and QCHP regulations, and engaging in patient education on skin health and preventive strategies. The position is full-time requiring regular presence during clinic operational hours and active involvement in the center's quality enhancement programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicine and Dermatology with proven skills in diagnosing and managing a wide array of skin disorders.
• Proficient clinical experience in treating acne, utilizing evidence-based approaches for mild to severe presentations.
• Expertise in cosmetic dermatology and cosmetology, emphasizing safe and patient-focused aesthetic treatments.
• Possession of a medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of dermatology residency or specialist training; board certification or eligibility highly desirable.
• Licensed or eligible for licensing to practice medicine in Qatar, preferably with QCHP registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively educate patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to ethical clinical practice, ongoing professional growth, and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
• Experience in family health or outpatient care environments is advantageous; familiarity with electronic medical records systems beneficial.
