Dental Laboratory Technician

Job Overview

The Dental Laboratory Technician undertakes a diverse range of responsibilities, such as preparing and reviewing case plans, and skillfully applying the lost wax technique alongside the Acrylic Injection system on a daily basis. Serving as a key figure within the removable prosthodontics section, this role focuses on sustaining production targets and continuously improving both the quality and quantity of prosthetic devices, thereby elevating the overall standards within the Dental Laboratory.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the main fabricator for prosthetic devices, producing all varieties of acrylic appliances including full and partial dentures and stints.
• Handle straightforward to moderately complex restorative cases that involve precision attachments and detailed gnathological bite procedures.
• Operate with limited oversight, with periodic quality and production reviews conducted by the Senior Dental Laboratory Technician.
• Execute tasks independently, reflecting recognized technical proficiency as a Dental Technician.

Educational Requirements

A minimum of a two-year diploma in general Dental Laboratory Technology or a comparable qualification is required.
