Role Overview
The Delivery Associate is responsible for managing the pickup and drop-off of laundry items between customers and the store, ensuring timely and accurate service in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Pickup and drop-off laundry items as per assigned schedule, collecting soiled clothes and returning cleaned and pressed garments.
- Verify garments thoroughly against the invoice list during both collection and delivery to maintain accuracy.
- Engage courteously with customers, addressing straightforward queries and gathering feedback directly.
- Use GPS and route planning tools to navigate efficiently through Bengaluru traffic and meet delivery timelines.
- Handle payment collection where applicable, confirm deliveries with signatures, and keep detailed records of all transactions.
- Strictly follow traffic rules, operate two-wheelers safely, and ensure the vehicle is properly serviced and fueled.
- Stay in regular contact with the supervising staff to report delivery progress, delays, or issues such as clothing damage or stains.
