Data Scientist - AI/ML (Remote Contract)

Position Overview

We are looking for a Data Scientist specializing in AI and Machine Learning to join a client on a contract basis. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere and focuses on creating, refining, and operationalizing machine learning models to enhance prediction accuracy on client data. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to develop automated, data-driven solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and enhance machine learning models including classification, regression, and clustering algorithms.
• Process and interpret both structured and unstructured large datasets to uncover meaningful insights.
• Establish and sustain MLOps frameworks to deploy, monitor, and update models efficiently.
• Create detailed experiments using Python, Jupyter notebooks, and ensure reproducibility with version control practices.
• Communicate results and suggestions effectively to stakeholders using visual data presentations and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experienced with Python programming and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Proficient with SQL for data gathering, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong expertise in statistical model development and experimental methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure for deploying models.
• Capable of operating independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote setting.
