This service combines the expertise of cybersecurity professionals with advanced artificial intelligence to safeguard customers' networks, endpoints, personnel, and brand assets.

As a CyberSecurity Technician based onsite in Cork, you will be instrumental in probing suspicious activities within client environments and executing suitable measures to neutralize cybersecurity threats. Your responsibilities extend to generating security-focused reports that provide valuable recommendations to enhance client defenses. You will be part of a tightly knit team within a broader organization, committed to collaboration and a culture driven by core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and mitigate cybersecurity threats in client systems.
• Execute best practices for incident response procedures.
• Gain deep proficiency with the specialized tools employed in delivering the MDR service.
• Engage actively with AI-based detection innovation and its practical deployment.
• Operate on a rotating shift schedule comprising four days on followed by four days off; shifts cover daytime and evening hours, including weekends, with no night shifts.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least one year of experience working within a Security Operations Centre, focusing on analyzing security alerts.
• Practical experience using Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools such as Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender, or Panda; familiarity with analyzing firewall logs, network traffic, and cloud platforms like O365, Azure, and AWS.
• A strong inquisitive and problem-solving approach combined with a keen interest in cybersecurity defense.
• Effective communication skills and empathy toward customer experiences, with adaptability to a constantly evolving threat environment.
