About the Role
Concept Plus is hiring a Cybersecurity Policy and RMF Analyst to support risk management efforts, uncover gaps in the assessment and authorization process, monitor and manage risk assessments, help implement a risk management strategy, and connect the business continuity of operations plan with IT continuity planning.
Responsibilities
- Follow DoD cybersecurity policy obligations under DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01, along with any successor guidance.
- Keep track of identified risks, document response actions, and make sure they align with the customer’s risk management strategy and are recorded in the risk register.
- Advise business and IT leadership on industry-aligned practices to reduce or correct risk.
- Plan, run, and monitor RMF validations for each IT portfolio.
- Assess security controls during risk reviews when needed to help support an investment’s Authorization to Operate.
- Analyze vulnerabilities to determine likely risks and business impact.
- Define actions required to safeguard information flows while meeting legal and regulatory requirements.
- Help develop plans and procedures that enable recovery of business-critical services after a digital risk incident.
- Support the creation and maintenance of asset inventories, including cloud-based digital assets.
- Track technology requests.
- Monitor open vulnerabilities and provide status updates for each risk across IT portfolios and investments, ensuring POA&Ms remain accurate and complete.
- Stay informed about Azure and FedRAMP regulatory updates and broader industry changes, and advise teams on how those changes may affect operations.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, or be eligible to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher requirements, such as Sec+ CE or above.
- At least 3 years of experience working with the Risk Management Framework process.
- At least 3 years of experience using the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) application.
