Uzima Microfinance is an expanding financial institution dedicated to empowering local communities by providing affordable financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Attract and enlist clients within designated regions and market segments.
• Carry out on-site evaluations, form client groups, appraise loans, and verify client information.
• Oversee loan disbursement, track loan progress, and perform regular follow-ups.
• Keep thorough records of client files, loan documents, and repayments.
• Ensure prompt collection of loan payments while fostering a culture of timely repayments.
• Develop and sustain strong customer connections whilst marketing Uzima’s products and services.
• Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of at least a Degree in Business Administration, Microfinance, Accounting, Social Sciences, Education, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience with field-focused microfinance lending is beneficial.
• Willingness to work and travel broadly through rural and peri-urban areas.
• Excellent communication, client mobilization, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, discipline, and a results-driven approach.
• Fluency in Ateso or Samia and English is required.
• Note: Interviews will take place at the Mbale Regional offices.
