About the Opportunity
The Corporate Engagement team at PBS North Carolina's Development Division focuses on generating revenue through diverse corporate partnership opportunities, including sponsorships across broadcast, digital platforms, production, and events. Operating with an emphasis on growth, this team seeks to enhance sustainable financial contributions to support PBS NC's mission.
The Corporate Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role supporting Directors in Corporate Engagement and Underwriting by managing project execution and facilitating comprehensive communication efforts that contribute to meeting and surpassing fundraising objectives. Collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, creative services, and programming, alongside external corporate partners, is essential in this role.
This position utilizes various data and technology systems, including Hubspot, LinkedIn, Nielsen's Scarborough, Protrack, and Trac Media tools, to analyze data and identify opportunities that fuel revenue growth with corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities
Duties involve prospect and account research, crafting proposals, qualitative and quantitative data analysis from public television sources and social media, coordinating corporate engagement calls, delivering ratings data, preparing tailored presentations, soliciting in-kind goods and services, managing projects and reports, and ensuring high-quality customer service for all stakeholders. The role requires some travel within North Carolina.
Work Arrangement
This hybrid role requires onsite presence at the PBS North Carolina Bryan Center in Research Triangle Park at least three days per week. Employees are expected to reside within a two-hour commute of the office.

Requirements and Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Candidates must possess strong skills and knowledge of development and corporate engagement fields, remain updated on industry trends, and have a thorough understanding of PBS policies and best practices.
Effective oral and written communication skills are critical, including the ability to convey messages clearly, build relationships, and negotiate beneficial partnerships. Project management acumen is necessary to oversee specialized corporate engagement initiatives, including working with CRM systems, marketing collateral, data reports, and ensuring compliance with PBS standards.
