Role Overview

This full-time on-site position is based at Ubi Ave 3 and involves working in the command centre to oversee security activity, coordinate responses, and maintain smooth communication with field personnel. The Controller is responsible for tracking alerts and incidents, recording events accurately, and supporting timely escalation based on set procedures. The role also includes helping with emergency coordination, shift scheduling, status updates, and adherence to client and company requirements.

Key Duties

• Track security alerts, incidents, and live operational activity from the control room.
• Coordinate with security officers on the ground and keep communication clear and timely.
• Log incidents, observations, and operational updates with accuracy and consistency.
• Use surveillance and monitoring systems, together with communication tools, to support command centre operations.
• Escalate incidents according to established response procedures and internal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response coordination when situations require immediate attention.
• Support shift planning, operational status tracking, and ongoing compliance with procedures and client expectations.

What You Need

• Hands-on knowledge of command centre work, including monitoring, coordination, and incident escalation.
• Comfort using security monitoring equipment, CCTV/surveillance tools, and communication devices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with officers, clients, and internal teams.
• Ability to prepare incident reports, maintain records, and follow standard operating procedures closely.
• Good judgement, alertness, and attention to detail, especially when working under pressure.
• Readiness to work on site in Paya Lebar and on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Prior exposure to security operations, emergency response, or a command centre setting is beneficial.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office applications are expected; a certificate in Perform Monitoring and Reporting Duties at Central Command Centre is an added advantage.

Additional Information

This position requires shift-based work and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The role is fully on-site.

Qualifications

Experience in security, emergency operations, or control room environments is preferred, though not mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable using computers and office software.
