Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Community Manager to enhance, manage, and expand online community presence for various client brands across multiple social platforms. This position will focus on fostering robust engagement, building brand loyalty, upholding the clients' online reputations, and executing communication strategies that drive interaction and awareness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture online communities across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Timely and professional responses to comments, messages, reviews, and discussions within the communities.
- Track brand mentions, monitor audience sentiments, and analyze conversations relevant to the clients.
- Create and enforce strategies aimed at increasing community engagement, brand visibility, and customer loyalty.
- Work collaboratively with creative, content, media, and marketing teams to implement campaign initiatives.
- Assist in content scheduling and planning to ensure alignment with campaign goals.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to uncover new engagement prospects.
- Compile regular performance reports on community metrics and activities.
- Ensure consistent brand voice representation in all communications.
- Handle customer inquiries proficiently and escalate issues as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in roles such as Community Manager or Social Media Manager.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven skills in managing customer relationships and engaging stakeholders.
- Experience with multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Competence in social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with platforms like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or equivalents.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and time efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced agency setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or related disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.
Employment Terms and Expectations
- This is a full-time role based strictly on-site at Victoria Island, Lagos.
- Working days are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- The monthly gross salary is ₦300000.
- The role requires immediate availability to start work.
- Remote or hybrid working arrangements are not available for this position.
