Community Access Facilitator

About the Role

Corlann South East is seeking motivated and compassionate individuals for the position of Community Access Facilitator based in Ballytobin, Co. Kilkenny. This temporary part-time role involves working 37 hours per fortnight, supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism in a day service environment.

Role Purpose

The Community Access Facilitator will enhance the lives of people with disabilities by fostering their confidence and independence. You will assist individuals in pursuing their life and career aspirations, helping them to establish and maintain valued social roles such as student, employee, volunteer, neighbor, and friend, thereby promoting their recognition and inclusion as equal members of the community.

Working Environment

The position requires close collaboration with key staff members, the supported persons' nominated circles of support, and multidisciplinary teams using a person-centered approach aligned with the New Directions values emphasizing community inclusion, active citizenship, and quality service delivery.
