Commercial Cleaner

Position Overview

Bee Clean Building Maintenance is seeking dependable individuals for part-time commercial cleaning roles at the Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) building in Arborg, Manitoba. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in large public facilities.

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning large public buildings is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to established detailed cleaning protocols; on-site training will be provided.
• Possession of a valid Manitoba driver's license or reliable transportation for commuting purposes.
• Ability to secure and uphold a clean criminal background check.
• Capability to pass required government clearance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, bonneting, and buffing of entrance mats and runners.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces including tables, chairs, countertops, fixtures, and garbage receptacles.
• Remove waste from common areas such as washrooms, lunchrooms, and office spaces.
• Sanitize and clean washroom facilities including toilets, sinks, walls, urinals, partitions, ledges, and mirrors.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
• Clean all glass surfaces and windows within the facility.
• Conduct other routine janitorial tasks as assigned.

Job Conditions and Schedule

• Position is permanent and part-time.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting after 4:30 p.m.
• Work is conducted on-site at the Arborg location.
• Hourly wage ranges between $16 and $20.
