Cloud Operation & Maintenance Team Leader

Role overview

An opportunity has been opened with Huawei, via Beijing Foreign Enterprise Management Consultants Co., Ltd., for a Cloud O&M Team Lead in Singapore. The role sits at the center of hybrid cloud operations, where you will guide a team responsible for keeping public cloud and Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS) private-cloud environments stable, secure, and efficient.

You will lead Technical Account Managers and Site Reliability Engineers, support customer-facing service operations, and help ensure that the cloud platform delivers strong availability, performance, and compliance.

What you will do

• Lead and coach the local O&M team, including technical account managers, and build a working culture focused on fast issue resolution and continuous technical improvement.
• Oversee service delivery for public cloud and private cloud customers, including maintenance and lifecycle management of Huawei Cloud Stack (HCS).
• Own the HCS patching and upgrade process to reduce exposure to vulnerabilities.
• Serve as the top escalation point for complex technical incidents and ensure standardized incident handling.
• Work with SRE and R&D teams to coordinate root-cause analysis and drive follow-up actions.
• Run routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning to stop incidents before they affect customers.
• Maintain compliance with global security standards and manage vulnerability remediation and security hardening across cloud platforms.

What the employer is looking for

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management.
• Strong working knowledge of public cloud services and private-cloud virtualization.
• Solid hands-on experience with O&M practices, SRE methods, and ITIL service management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to handle war-room situations and lead teams under pressure.
• Huawei Cloud Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Cloud Expert (HCIE) certification in Cloud Service or Solutions is strongly preferred.
