Role Overview

The Deli Clerk plays an essential role in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a welcoming environment that drives customer loyalty and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all Food Safety Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, health and safety guidelines, and corporate policies.
• Deliver excellent service tailored to customer requirements at the deli counter.
• Keep the work area organized, sanitary, and presentable at all times.
• Accurately process customer deli orders and prepare deli items as needed.
• Execute merchandising strategies and promote products to enhance sales.
• Assist in training new or junior team members.
• Order and receive stock while following inventory control protocols.
• Manage shrink processes within the department.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment meeting company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
