Clerical Receptionist

About the role

Lumus Imaging is looking for a Medical Imaging Receptionist to join its newly opened imaging clinic in Launceston. This is an opportunity to help establish the clinic from the ground up and contribute to the patient experience, workplace culture, and long-term success of the site.

The clinic environment is busy and collaborative, with supportive leaders who value teamwork, service quality, and patient-focused care. In addition to a permanent full-time role, part-time options may also be considered. For the right candidate, relocation support, improved remuneration, and a sign-on bonus may be available.

What you will do

• Welcome patients and provide a high standard of service at reception
• Handle radiology appointment scheduling and booking coordination
• Complete clerical and general administrative duties carefully and efficiently
• Keep patient information accurate and well maintained
• Communicate in a professional manner with patients, referring doctors, and internal staff
• Manage billing and payment processing, including Medicare, DVA, private health funds, and WorkCover
