Main duties

• Keep all parts of the pub clean, including guest areas, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff spaces, and outdoor areas.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in line with standard operating procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep track of cleaning stock and tell the manager when supplies need replenishing.
• Report any maintenance concerns or pest-related problems to the manager on duty.
• Greet customers politely and interact in a courteous, professional way.
• Complete induction, job-specific, and refresher training, while contributing to ongoing improvements.

Working pattern

The pubs operate from early morning to late night, so the role offers flexible shift coverage across mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes. The contracted hours are 10 per week, with the listed schedule showing 6:30 to 8:30 every day from Monday through Sunday.
