Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure all pub areas, including customer spaces, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff zones, and external surroundings, are kept impeccably clean.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly, adhering to safety procedures.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and inform management when supplies need replenishment.
• Report any maintenance or pest control concerns to the on-duty manager.
• Engage courteously with patrons, offering greetings and farewells.
• Complete mandatory induction, role-specific, and refresher training while actively contributing to ongoing improvements.

Progress and Development

• Opportunities exist to advance through structured on-the-job training, apprenticeships, and management programs.
• Cross-training in other functions such as bar, kitchen, and hotel operations is available.
• Potential to rise to team leader, shift leader, or higher managerial roles.

Additional Information

• Eligibility: This position may not be suitable for individuals under 18 due to shift timing and lone working. Other front-of-house and kitchen positions might be available as alternatives.
• Shift Pattern: Operating hours from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM daily, with flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes.
• Hours per week: 6 hours.
• Vacancy may close early subject to high application volume.
