About the Role

We invite you to become a vital member of Royal Freemasons as a Cleaner or Laundry Assistant at the Coppin Residential Aged Care Facility in Melbourne. In this role, you will contribute directly to creating a hygienic, safe, and inviting atmosphere that enhances the comfort and wellbeing of our older residents, their families, and our team.

Your attention to detail combined with a respectful and friendly demeanor will help foster a supportive and valued community, especially assisting residents experiencing dementia, illness, or disability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and order throughout the aged care facility.
• Perform laundry tasks efficiently to support smooth facility operations.
• Engage thoughtfully with residents, providing assistance and comfort as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior commercial cleaning experience is strongly preferred.
• A sincere caring attitude towards elderly individuals, with an uplifting and positive approach.
• Possession of a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination; annual influenza vaccination is highly recommended.
