About Future Generation Joint Venture and the Snowy 2.0 Project

The Future Generation Joint Venture, combining WeBuild, Clough, and Lane, leads the design and construction of Snowy 2.0, one of the world's largest pumped hydro schemes located in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. This significant renewable energy project promises sustainable, on-demand power and large-scale energy storage for future generations, marking a milestone in Australia's energy history.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cleaner to join the housekeeping team at the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The role involves working a 14:7 roster with 10-hour shifts, including rotating day and night duties. You will be a vital member of the housekeeping (Peggy) team, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering clean, tidy rooms with fresh linens, laundered towels, and sanitized showers to provide a relaxing environment for guests
Maintaining a hygienic and safe work environment across village accommodations
Cleaning amenities, office buildings, and crib huts
Supporting logistics by assisting with moving stock and parts around the site
Flexibly adapting to team and individual work requirements with a positive, proactive attitude
Managing time effectively to meet scheduled deadlines
Standing and physical activity for up to 10 hours daily

Required Qualifications and Certifications

High Risk Work Licence – LF (highly preferred)
General Construction Induction (White Card)
Valid driver’s license is advantageous
Right to work in Australia
Clearance through medical and criminal history checks
Current Hepatitis A and B immunizations

Additional Considerations

The work environment exposes employees to remote and challenging conditions, including extreme cold temperatures. Candidates should be prepared for these physical challenges before applying.
