Role Summary
The Chief Executive Officer will set the strategic direction for Cave Ventures’ portfolio and lead execution across its digital and physical commerce businesses. This is a full-time remote position responsible for shaping the vision, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring the organization delivers scalable and sustainable growth.
The role involves guiding senior leaders and cross-functional teams, making decisions on investments and resource deployment, monitoring performance indicators, and steering brand and product strategy across multiple business units. The CEO will also develop partnerships, manage important stakeholder relationships, and represent the company in meetings with investors, partners, and agencies. In addition, the role includes improving internal systems, encouraging a high-performance and experimental culture, and identifying new market opportunities and incubation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Define the company’s long-term vision and translate it into clear priorities for the portfolio.
- Oversee financial results, operational effectiveness, and growth initiatives across all business units.
- Lead senior management and cross-functional teams with strong coordination and accountability.
- Make informed decisions on investments, budgets, and allocation of resources.
- Review business metrics regularly and use data to guide execution and strategy.
- Shape brand direction and product strategy across multiple commerce ventures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, investors, agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Represent Cave Ventures in external discussions and strategic engagements.
- Improve internal processes and promote scalable operating practices.

- Identify promising new markets, ventures, and incubation projects.
Requirements
- Strong capability in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial assessment, and capital allocation.
- Background in operations management within multi-brand or multi-unit settings, with an emphasis on process improvement and scalable delivery.
- Solid experience in business and strategic planning, including long-range goal setting and market expansion strategy.
- Demonstrated success in sales leadership, revenue growth, and building strong commercial teams.
- Experience with digital commerce, retail, or brand-led businesses, ideally across both online and offline channels.
- Ability to manage distributed remote teams with clear communication and decision-making structures.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence in data-led decisions.
- Entrepreneurial or startup experience is highly valued; prior C-level or general management experience is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline; an MBA or other advanced degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
