Role Overview
As an Outbound Business Development Representative for the New Zealand market, you will play a critical role in generating and qualifying qualified leads to drive sales growth and contribute to Employment Hero's ambitious goal of revolutionizing workforce management. This position offers a base salary of $80,000 with an on-target earning potential of $128,000 and achievable earnings above 140% of the target.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new sales prospects through cold outreach via calls, emails, and lead follow-ups.
- Reach and exceed assigned sales targets to support company growth.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective clients to build strong sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to transfer qualified leads for closure.
- Maintain and expand a segmented prospect database through ongoing research and engagement.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and determine suitability.
- Support online product demonstrations to prospective customers when needed.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum one year of successful high-volume B2B outbound sales experience.
- Proficiency with sales tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and Outreach.
- Consistent history of surpassing sales targets.
- Strong telephone communication skills with resilience for extended phone engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Effective listening, presentation, multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
