About Indian Classics Projects
Indian Classics Projects specializes in supplying linens and furnishings specifically to hotels and hospitals. As part of its expansion, the company is strengthening its sales division by recruiting a Business Development Executive dedicated to fostering strong partnerships with hotel and hospital clients.
Role Summary
The Business Development Executive will serve as the central contact person for clients in the hospitality and healthcare sectors, handling the complete client journey from initial contact through order closure and ongoing account management. This role requires substantial fieldwork and accountability for managing assigned accounts independently.
Main Duties
- Proactively identify potential hotel and hospital customers within the designated geographic area and initiate contact.
- Manage client requests for quotations (RFQs), including preparing quotations, providing samples, and conducting timely follow-ups.
- Conduct on-site client visits to hotels and hospitals for meetings, showcase samples, and finalize orders.
- Nurture and expand existing client relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Document all client interactions and monitor the status of sales pipelines.
- Collaborate with the operations team to guarantee prompt fulfillment of orders.
- Explore opportunities for vendor empanelment with hotel chains and hospital organizations.
Candidate Profile
- Effective communication skills in English, Hindi, or regional languages.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally to visit clients.
- Preferably some experience in field sales, B2B sales, or procurement within hospitality or healthcare sectors; however, motivated fresh graduates with the appropriate attitude are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic proficiency with WhatsApp, Microsoft Excel, and mobile-based reporting tools.
- Self-driven with strong aptitude for numerical work and persistence in follow-ups.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 18,000 to INR 28,000.
