Overview
Alliance Digital seeks an experienced Business Analyst to contribute to the creation, documentation, and delivery of advanced digital gaming products and platform solutions. This role serves as a pivotal link connecting client business stakeholders with internal technical teams, guaranteeing that requirements are clearly comprehended, validated, and effectively transformed into actionable development tasks.
Core Responsibilities
- Collect, examine, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
- Lead sessions such as workshops, interviews, and discovery meetings with client stakeholders to grasp business objectives and user expectations.
- Produce and update various product requirements materials including Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specifications, user stories with acceptance criteria, and graphical representations like process and data flow diagrams.
- Work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Technical Project Managers, and other internal teams to ensure streamlined product deliveries.
- Facilitate backlog upkeep, sprint planning, and prioritize development tasks.
- Conduct gap assessments comparing existing system functionality to targeted behavior.
- Support defining key performance indicators, success measures, and reporting needs.
- Engage in User Acceptance Testing planning and validation to ensure features meet requirements.
- Monitor and communicate any changes in requirements, potential risks, and project impacts throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, responsible gaming, and jurisdictional standards as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
- Between 2 and over 5 years of prior experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role.
- Knowledge of API-based systems, backend platform workflows, and data architectures.
- Expertise in using requirement management and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities capable of simplifying complex concepts into clear outputs.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English, adept at managing stakeholders and conducting workshops.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience dealing with B2B platform solutions, know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, or data analytics tools like Mixpanel.
- Understanding of diverse regulatory markets including MGA, UKGC, Ontario, and various US States.
- Familiarity with RTP configurations, bonus engines, and odds or pricing feed mechanisms.
- Basic to moderate proficiency in SQL or data querying for validation and analytical tasks.
