Business Analyst - Temenos T24 Core Banking Transformation

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive expertise in Retail & Corporate Banking operations and significant experience in Temenos T24 Core Banking Transformation initiatives. The selected candidate will serve as the leading business expert in banking operations, collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout comprehensive banking modernization projects. Proficiency in Islamic Banking modules within Temenos T24 is essential, along with strong skills in business process design, data migration, testing, and operational readiness.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Retail & Corporate Banking operations in Temenos T24 transformation programs.
• Provide functional insights across banking operational processes and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and consultants during projects.
• Conduct business requirements workshops and prepare key documentation such as Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, Gap Analyses, and Business Process Maps.
• Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOM) including process optimization, workflow improvements, and accuracy in automation opportunities.
• Support the configuration, validation, and deployment of Temenos T24 implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Deliver expertise in Islamic Banking operations covering accounts, financing products like Murabaha and Ijara, and support compliance with Shariah principles.
• Assist in data migration tasks including mapping, cleaning, validation, balance and customer migration, migration testing, and reconciliation activities.
• Lead comprehensive testing efforts encompassing functional, integration, user acceptance, and regression tests, as well as defect management and test documentation.
• Drive change management processes and prepare operational readiness through SOPs, manuals, training materials, and post-launch support.
• Effectively manage communication and coordination among stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to ensure project success.

Required Skills & Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of Temenos T24 Core Banking platform and its AA & TPH modules.
• Extensive experience in retail, corporate, and Islamic banking operations.
• Strong capability in business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and scope management.
• Expertise in data migration strategies, validation, balance reconciliation, and migration tools.
• Proficient in testing methodologies including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
• Solid background in operational documentation and training delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and project coordination skills coupled with leadership aptitude.

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master's degree and certifications such as Certified Temenos T24 Consultant, Temenos AA and TPH Certifications, CBAP, PMP, Agile/Scrum, Islamic Banking Certification, and TOGAF are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 11 years in banking sector with at least 8 years dedicated to Temenos T24 transformations.
• Five or more years of direct involvement with Islamic Banking module implementations.
• Proven track record handling retail, corporate, and Islamic banking implementations, core banking transformations, data migration, business analysis, testing, and change management.
