BIM Coordinator - Saudi

About the Role

We are seeking a proficient BIM Coordinator to join our Jeddah-based team. This role involves overseeing multidisciplinary model coordination, detecting clashes, managing digital deliverables, and implementing BIM workflows for infrastructure and engineering projects. The successful candidate must have extensive technical knowledge in BIM coordination, model management, digital construction tools, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models across multiple disciplines including civil, utilities, electrical, mechanical, structural, and landscape.
• Manage model federation processes, perform clash detection, conduct coordination reviews, and track BIM issues with prompt follow-up.
• Evaluate BIM submissions for model quality, naming consistency, level of detail, data accuracy, and prepare drawing extractions.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, contractors, document control, and project management teams to assist BIM deliverables.
• Prepare various reports including BIM coordination, clash detection, model reviews, meeting notes, as-built updates, and handover packages.
• Ensure adherence to project BIM standards, information management protocols, digital workflows, and common data environment requirements.
• Maintain BIM registers, update model statuses, manage coordination records, and keep detailed issue logs.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing BIM workflows, improving model quality, coordination efficiency, and digital handover products.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model management for infrastructure or building projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of BIM workflows, including clash detection, model federation, information management, and digital deliverables.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM/ACC, AutoCAD, and other BIM coordination software.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities to manage model review comments and clash reports effectively.
• Outstanding coordination, reporting, document control knowledge, and communication competencies.
• Experience in BIM coordination and digital delivery; fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) preferred.
