BIM Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for an accomplished BIM Coordinator to join our Qatar-based team. This position involves overseeing BIM processes for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines in large-scale multidisciplinary projects. Candidates must have a robust architectural background combined with strong BIM coordination expertise across diverse project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee BIM coordination efforts across architecture, structure, and MEP disciplines.
• Create, manage, and update federated BIM models during all project phases.
• Utilize clash detection software like Navisworks to identify and manage conflict resolution.
• Organize and conduct BIM coordination meetings involving consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure strict adherence to the project BIM Execution Plan and internal company BIM standards.
• Maintain high model quality, accuracy, and data consistency.
• Offer technical BIM guidance and support to internal teams.
• Review and validate BIM models submitted by consultants and subcontractors.
• Compile BIM reports, track model progress, and prepare relevant coordination documentation.
• Support project teams to achieve delivery deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 7 years’ practical experience in BIM, with significant exposure to BIM coordination.
• Proficient with Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• In-depth knowledge of international BIM standards and Qatar's construction protocols.
• Strong communication capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Availability to join immediately is preferred.
