Role Overview

We are looking for a proficient BI Developer to join our team. This opportunity suits a professional who blends strong technical skills with a deep understanding of business objectives and enjoys turning data into clear, scalable, and user-friendly reporting tools.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to produce dashboards, reports, and visual analytics that aid decision-making in key business sectors. The focus will be on providing meaningful, consistent, and accessible business intelligence and reporting solutions for end users.

This role involves working alongside the technology and data teams to transform business requirements into effective reporting solutions, fostering a robust self-service reporting culture, and advancing the company's analytics capabilities.

The position primarily aims to create scalable reporting frameworks and self-service analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and improve dashboards, reports, and visual analytics for management, compliance, and operational teams.
• Convert business requirements into scalable and user-centric BI solutions based on reliable and well-organized data sources.
• Design data visualizations across crucial domains such as client acquisition, retention, lifetime value, trading activities, and revenue analysis.
• Assist in building self-service reporting features to facilitate efficient accessibility to dependable insights for stakeholders.
• Define, document, and oversee reporting logic, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business rules to ensure reporting consistency.
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports for management, compliance, regulatory filings, and audits as necessary.
• Evaluate report outputs to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and user-friendliness, while identifying potential improvements in data presentation and interpretation.
• Work in close cooperation with data and technology teams to communicate reporting needs, identify data gaps, and contribute to ongoing analytics enhancements.
• Enhance dashboard efficiency, usability, and overall user experience.
• Provide support to users for effective adoption and understanding of reporting tools and dashboards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years practical experience as a BI Developer, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar, ideally within financial services, preferably CFD/Forex brokerage environments.
• Strong knowledge of CFD products, financial markets, and trading-related business metrics.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL for data querying and validation of reporting logic.
• Expertise with BI and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
• Experience designing dashboards and reports prioritizing clarity, user-friendliness, and scalability.
• Understanding of data warehousing principles, reporting layers, and BI interfaces with backend data architectures.
• Capability to gather, refine, and translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and with technical and non-technical personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
• Familiar with compliance, audit, or regulatory reporting protocols.
• Knowledge of supporting self-service BI environments and governance of reports.
• Educational qualifications in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
