About the Company and Role
IIQAF Group, based in Dubai, UAE, specializes in hospitality services and is seeking a committed and energetic Bartender to join their team full-time. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring an orderly bar environment, delivering excellent customer service, handling inventory, processing orders and payments, and adhering to health, safety, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks as per standardized recipes, presentation guidelines, and individual guest preferences.
- Offer courteous and professional bar service to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Mix a range of beverages including cocktails, mocktails, specialty drinks, juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea.
- Accurately take and process beverage orders efficiently.
- Advise guests on beverage selections with knowledgeable descriptions.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels of the bar throughout shifts.
- Set up the bar prior to service and carry out closing procedures afterward.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all glassware, tools, equipment, and workstations are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Comply with company protocols and UAE hospitality and safety regulations.
- Assist with staffing during special events, banquets, and busy service periods as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in hospitality or beverage service are advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of beverage and cocktail preparation, garnishing, glassware, and bar operations.
- Knowledge of food and beverage hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong communication abilities and excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance, positive demeanor, and effective interpersonal communication.
- Capability to perform well in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
