Role Overview

As a Bartender at Ruby, you bring personality, creativity, and enthusiasm to craft cocktails, serve drinks and snacks efficiently, and contribute to a seamless guest experience with a smile. You will have the opportunity to innovate with seasonal drink creations, support the team through training, and handle various service and reception duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails, drinks, and light snacks with skill and ensure smooth service operation.
• Create new and seasonal drink recipes, letting your creativity shine behind the bar.
• Stay updated with current trends, assist the lead bartender in curating the beverage menu, and help train team members.
• Undertake varied service-related tasks including reception assignments as needed.
• Assist with stock receiving, inspection, and storage while maintaining correct mise-en-place in line with company standards.
• Share insider tips with guests about the city’s best hotspots.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a similar bartending position, preferably within lifestyle hotels or popular local bars.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and readiness for shift-based scheduling.
• Strong multitasking abilities, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
• Empathetic demeanor, able to genuinely engage and inspire guests and colleagues.
• A good sense of humor and enjoyment of working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluent command of both German and English languages.
