Role overview
Woolworths Group is looking for a Baker to join its fresh food team in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia. This position is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy bakery setting, producing fresh, high-quality baked goods, and contributing to a team that values learning, support, and customer satisfaction.
The roster provided for this role runs from Monday to Sunday, with hours from 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Early starts mean you can finish up early and keep your afternoons free.
What this role involves
You will help produce the baked range that local customers know and return for. The work is fast-moving and hands-on, and it offers the chance to maintain your technical skills while also growing your leadership capability.
- Bring the company’s Everyday ACTs — Acknowledge, Care and Thank — into daily customer and team interactions.
- Prepare products and experiences that customers truly value and enjoy.
- Maintain excellent standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring work areas are clean, orderly, and ready for audit checks.
- Support your teammates and help guide the bakery team, contributing to a positive culture focused on wellbeing, resilience, and shared results.
- Keep developing your baking expertise and leadership skills through curiosity and continuous improvement.
- Work confidently in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines and a high work pace.
What you need to bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a formal baking qualification or an equivalent level of industry experience. Prior experience in a fast-paced bakery environment is also required.
