Backend Developer (Golang + PostgreSQL)

Position Overview

JussTek is seeking a skilled Backend Developer specializing in Golang and PostgreSQL to join their team in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This full-time onsite role involves creating and maintaining the backend systems for a vehicle impound management platform, which includes handling live GPS data from tracking devices, managing geofence and alert logic, integrating payment and fine systems, and supporting a React-based dashboard along with three mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services supporting real-time GPS telemetry and geofencing features.
• Integrate payment and fine management functionalities within the platform.
• Serve data and functionalities to a React dashboard and multiple mobile apps.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency with Go programming language and PostgreSQL database.
• Experience with Redis and RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT for authentication and authorization.
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Gin or Gorilla Mux, and ORM tools like GORM or SQLx.
• Version control experience using Git.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience or knowledge of MQTT protocol or hardware/device integration.
• Familiarity with Kafka for event streaming.
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Casbin for access control.

Additional Information

The role involves working on genuine production challenges with substantial operational loads and an active client base—no trivial problems. Even if you have strong backend fundamentals without prior Go deployment experience, you are encouraged to apply as support and training for Go development will be provided. Emphasis is on system thinking and problem-solving approaches.

Compensation

Annual CTC ranges between ₹800,000 to ₹1,100,000.
