Role Summary
This position requires an AWS Step Functions Developer with 6 to 10 years of professional experience, based in Noida (New Delhi area). Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fields and possess extensive experience in cloud automation and business continuity domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build AWS Step Functions workflows that orchestrate comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) procedures.
- Automate DR runbooks including the restoration of backups and switching of traffic.
- Develop error handling and rollback mechanisms within the workflows to ensure resilience.
- Coordinate DR processes spanning primary and secondary AWS regions to maintain business continuity.
- Assist with audits, compliance requirements, and conduct DR drills as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 years of overall experience with at least 4 years in AWS environments and 2+ years specifically working with AWS Step Functions.
- Proficient with AWS Lambda using Python and/or Node.js programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS disaster recovery strategies such as Pilot Light and Warm Standby.
- Experience designing multi-region AWS architectures to support stability and failover.
- Hands-on familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- AWS certifications at Associate or Professional level are highly desirable.
- Strong ability to develop idempotent and resilient workflows.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Education Eligibility
Candidates should have completed B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology, or B.Sc in Computer Science and Technology.
