Automotive Technician

Role Overview

We seek a proficient and committed Automotive Technician with practical expertise in contemporary automotive electronics, electric vehicle (EV) systems, and technical assistance. This position demands a technically adept, customer-oriented individual capable of performing field installations, diagnostics, and providing support from the office. Extensive travel may be necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install and set up GPS tracking devices accurately.
• Carry out installation and calibration of fuel level sensors.
• Perform installation, diagnostic evaluation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated automotive sensors.
• Manage EV battery installation, upkeep, and problem diagnosis.
• Handle vehicle electrical wiring, connections, and identify faults.
• Install and configure dashcams efficiently.
• Install, connect, diagnose, and troubleshoot OBD devices.
• Execute vehicle calibration and commissioning according to standard protocols.
• Install and manage advanced EV charging stations and sockets.
• Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot Electric Rickshaws and Electric Bikes.
• Offer technical customer support through telephone and remote connections.
• Travel to client locations for installation, maintenance, and technical aid as needed.
• Document technical reports and maintain records of installations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of automobile electrical and electronic frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with GPS trackers, fuel sensors, OBD tools, dashcams, and vehicle diagnostics.
• Firm grasp of EV batteries, charging systems, and vehicle calibration techniques.
• Work experience assembling and wiring E-Rickshaws and E-Bikes.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, internet browsing, and email communication.
• Foundational knowledge of servers and network connectivity is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-resolution abilities.
• Capacity to operate autonomously and under pressure.
• Flexible working hours aligned with operational demands.
• Willingness for frequent travel.
• Effective communication skills to offer remote and on-site technical support.
• Mandated proficiency in Hindi; English familiarity is beneficial.

Preferred Background

• Practical experience in both field and office technical support environments.
• Background in automotive telematics, fleet management systems, or EV technologies favored.
