Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and improve our QA Automation Regression Suite primarily using Playwright. This role also involves performing manual testing when necessary to ensure the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance automation test scripts with Playwright.
• Conduct manual testing to support automation efforts.
• Execute automation tests using Playwright.
• Work with databases and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment processes involving Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Leverage expertise in Selenium with Java and Playwright with JavaScript for automation tasks.
• Contribute to test planning, strategy formulation, execution, and reporting within the QA process.
• Integrate AI technologies to improve testing efficiency.
• Develop and execute performance tests using JMeter.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrable experience in test automation using Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies including test planning and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of database interactions relevant to testing.
• Familiarity with performance test development using JMeter.
• Ability to apply AI to enhance testing workflows.
• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in QA automation testing or test analysis.
